To make water conservation easier, Woodbury is promoting its Smart Irrigation Controller Program, which offers discounted controllers for $35 to property owners who installed irrigation systems before 2020 and haven't yet participated. The controllers will be shipped directly to homes, removing barriers to participation.

The council also reminded residents about the city's annual Memorial Day ceremony at the Woodbury Lion's Veterans Memorial. Attendees should be aware that Valley Creek Road will experience significant closures during the event, affecting access to City Hall. Residents are advised to use City Center Drive as an alternative route.

Finally, the city encouraged residents to sign up for InTouch, its email notification service, to stay informed about city news and announcements. The service provides a direct way for residents to receive updates from the city.
