School board certifies election results for four new members
The Woodbury school board formally approved the results of its November 5 election on Tuesday, confirming that K Yang, Nancy Livingston, Katie Swore, and Charlotte Nardi won four-year terms. The board also authorized the issuance of official election certificates to the winners.

In a second vote, the board approved a resolution authorizing the board chair and clerk to issue official certificates of election to the four winners. However, the certificates won't be delivered immediately. State law requires the board to wait until the period for contesting the election has passed and all candidates have filed their required campaign finance reports. Once those conditions are met, the clerk will deliver the certificates to each winner, either in person or by certified mail. The clerk will also provide forms for the winners to formally accept their positions and take the oath of office.
Both resolutions passed without dissent. The board also directed the school district clerk to certify the election results to county auditors in each county where the school district operates.
