The survey results paint a largely positive picture of Woodbury. Nine in 10 residents rated the city's overall quality of life as excellent or good, and 95% said Woodbury is an excellent or good place to live. Residents also gave high marks to specific city services, including parks and recreation, public safety, and public works.

One notable improvement is residents' sense of safety. The survey showed a 14% increase since 2022 in favorable responses about safety in Woodbury, with 92% of residents now responding positively. The city attributes this improvement to intentional efforts by its Public Safety staff following a City Council strategic initiative focused on crime prevention and community connections.

The city also made progress on diversity and inclusion. Survey responses showed a 10% increase in residents' perception that Woodbury is open and accepting of people from diverse backgrounds. Additionally, 9% more residents felt the city provides a safe and secure environment for all backgrounds.

However, two issues continue to concern residents. Water quality—specifically contamination from PFAS, a group of industrial chemicals—remains the most serious issue identified by residents. The city has installed temporary water treatment facilities at all nine of its water production wells and plans to complete a permanent treatment plant by 2028. Traffic congestion is the second-biggest concern, with 34% of respondents citing it as problematic. The city acknowledged that ongoing roadway investments are currently causing delays but said it is monitoring traffic patterns to plan future infrastructure improvements for the growing community.
