[0:03] it is Thursday April 24th and this is [0:05] the Chan Check-in and thank you to all [0:07] of you who came out to this past [0:09] Saturday's Easter egg hunt here at City [0:11] Center Park we had 555 kids 46 high [0:15] school volunteers eight businesses that [0:17] provided games and activities 4,500 eggs [0:21] and 13,000 pieces of candy just can't [0:24] wait for our next city event well good [0:25] news we have one coming up this Saturday [0:27] the Garden Tool Swap which is going to [0:29] take place at the Chanhassen Rec Center [0:31] and we just finalized the lineup for our [0:34] summer concert series which kicks off [0:35] this June here at Lake Anne Park and [0:38] we're thrilled that Hackamore Brewing [0:39] has agreed to be our partner on this [0:41] year's series and of course don't forget [0:43] about our Memorial Day ceremony May 26 [0:46] here at Lake Anne Park at the Al Klingal [0:48] Huts Pavilion john Lovevald a 25-y year [0:51] Army and National Guard veteran who has [0:53] dedicated the past eight years to ending [0:55] veteran homelessness in Minnesota will [0:57] be our speaker in less good news it's [1:00] pothole season but good news we're going [1:02] to fix them for you and for that we're [1:04] going to go live now to our senior [1:06] pothole correspondent Drew Zarsky that's [1:08] right Patrick i'm out here on city [1:10] streets getting the scoop a scoop of [1:12] pothole filler that is our city crews [1:14] are already out making repairs and [1:16] starting April 28th a contractor will be [1:19] brought in to cover more ground it's all [1:21] about getting the job done faster for a [1:23] smoother ride back to you all right [1:26] that's it for now we'll check in with [1:27] you next week
