Chanhassen brings in contractor to speed up pothole repairs
The Chanhassen City Council announced it will hire a contractor to assist with pothole repairs starting April 28th, aiming to fix more roads faster across the city.
City crews have been working on pothole repairs, but the council decided to bring in additional help to accelerate the work. Beginning April 28th, a contractor will join city staff in tackling potholes throughout Chanhassen's streets, allowing the city to cover more ground and provide residents with smoother roads.
Beyond infrastructure, the council highlighted several upcoming community events. A Garden Tool Swap is scheduled at the Chanhassen Rec Center, and the city finalized its summer concert series lineup at Lake Anne Park, partnering with Hackamore Brewing. The council also recapped a successful Easter egg hunt that took place at City Central Park.
Looking ahead, the city will host a Memorial Day ceremony on May 26th at the Al Klingal Huts Pavilion within Lake Anne Park. John Lovevald, who has dedicated efforts to ending veteran homelessness in Minnesota, will serve as the speaker for the event.
