Chanhassen Closes Rec Center Pickleball Courts for Resurfacing
The city of Chanhassen will temporarily close pickleball courts at the Chanhassen Rec Center starting May 27 for approximately two weeks of resurfacing work, weather permitting.
The closure is part of routine facility maintenance, according to a city update Thursday. During the closure, players can use alternative courts at Roundhouse Park.
The city also reminded residents of upcoming community events, including the Memorial Day ceremony scheduled for May 26 at Lake Anne Park's Al Clingal Huts Pavilion. The July 4th celebration is less than 50 days away, with a new parade route planned for this year's festivities.
A resident survey through flashvote.com expires May 23, giving residents one day to participate in the community feedback initiative.
The pickleball court project represents ongoing efforts to maintain recreational facilities throughout the city's park system.
