Mr. Dusek/Zajac presented the application for a veterinary clinic at 2781 Pilot Knob Road, detailing the building renovation, 600 sq ft addition, zoning compliance (NRB), and parking (14 stalls, 2 overflow). The applicant, Kyle Stoltzfus, spoke about his investment in Eagan and addressed concerns regarding parking capacity, explaining how staff parking would be managed to prioritize clients. A public commenter, Tom from Eagan, inquired about the size of animals the clinic would treat, to which Mr. Stoltzfus clarified that services would be primarily for dogs, cats, and small 'pocket pets', not large animals requiring trailers. Staff also clarified an alternative parking plan showing potential for 20 stalls if restriped.

I think 14 is sufficient. Typically, we count about 5 to 7 employees or staff there at the time. So that gives us about, you know, 7 to 9 over. And then um, like Pam was saying to, we do have the ability to kind of move staff off to that North side if, you know, um, if needed. So when I was looking at the map and how I would decide it was, we would keep that, uh, clinic facing, um, those clinic facing parking spots, all clients available. And then the further back ones could either be staff. And if those are full, we could do the overflow. But that way, we're keeping all of the ones right up to the entrance open for clients.

I just need some clarification on the size of the animals that they're talking about. We do have people here within Eagan that have horses. So if they bring their horse in with a trailer, you may have some issues with turning around and things like that. Or do the as the veterinarian's going to the site.

So almost all dogs and cats, that's basically it. I have an associate who likes working with, uh, pocket pets like bearded dragons and rabbits and stuff, but no, nothing large enough that would have to go on a trailer, hopefully.
