[0:05] [Music] [0:15] [Music] [0:21] [Music] [0:55] i call the May 8th 2025 Planning [0:58] Commission meeting to order and ask you [1:01] to stand for the pledge of [1:07] allegiance united States of America to [1:10] the [1:14] nation indivisible liberty and justice [1:18] for [1:22] all thank you for that first order of [1:24] business is the swearing in of our new [1:26] planning commissioner [1:39] Johny raise your right hand and repeat [1:41] after me i state your name i John [1:45] Sweeney do solemnly swear do solemnly [1:47] swear that I will support the [1:49] Constitution of the United States that I [1:51] will support the Constitution of the [1:52] United States and of the state of [1:54] Minnesota and of the state of Minnesota [1:56] and faithfully discharge the duties and [1:58] faithfully discharge the duties of the [2:00] office of planning commissioner of the [2:02] office of planning commissioner of the [2:04] city of Lakeville of the city of [2:05] Lakeville in the county of Dakota and [2:07] state of Minnesota in the county of [2:09] Dakota and the state of Minnesota to the [2:11] best of my judgment and ability to the [2:13] best of my judgement ability so help me [2:15] God so help me God [2:25] welcome to the commission [2:29] if we could ask uh Secretary Ericson to [2:32] please take a [2:34] role kinsley here graphus here palooa [2:39] here [2:45] here [2:51] uh next item is approval of the minutes [2:53] uh we had the minutes in the packet for [2:55] March 20th and uh planning commission [2:57] meeting and the April 17th planning [3:00] commission work session minutes does [3:02] anyone have any changes to those if not [3:05] we will let them [3:07] stand very good uh I'll now turn to [3:12] planning manager Jensen if we have any [3:14] announcements for tonight uh no handouts [3:16] for this evening and uh the only [3:19] announcement is that if tonight's items [3:21] are not tabled they should move forward [3:22] to the May 19th city council meeting [3:26] excellent thank you so much our next [3:29] item on the agenda is South Metro Safe [3:32] and Vault interim use permit this is a [3:35] public hearing to uh consider the [3:37] application of South Metro Safe and [3:40] Vault for interim use permit and IUP to [3:42] allow the outdoor sale and display of a [3:44] safe as an accessory use in the C3 [3:47] General Commercial District uh first up [3:52] um is he on teams mr [3:57] borchard mr orchard if you're there um [4:00] please introduce yourself for the record [4:02] and then uh go [4:21] ahead maybe we're having technical [4:23] difficulties we could certainly [4:28] um possibly have Miss Bodern present [4:47] first i'm going to suggest that we have [4:49] Miss Bod present first [4:53] thank you [4:55] all right well good evening chair [4:57] commission members hey come here quick [5:02] muted i can't get it out [5:05] mr borchard is that you [5:09] yes are you there yes we are now we'd be [5:12] happy to hear from…
