[0:00] [Applause] [0:03] [Music] [0:03] [Applause] [0:05] [Music] [0:05] [Applause] [0:08] [Music] [0:11] [Applause] [0:13] [Music] [0:16] hello and thanks for tuning in to [0:17] Bloomington today let's take a look at [0:19] the latest news in Bloomington hga [0:22] Architects and City staff are in the [0:24] process of creating a draft design of [0:26] the new Community Health and Wellness [0:27] Center the public is invited to review [0:29] and comment on Saturday February 8th in [0:32] the blackbox theater at Bloomington [0:34] Civic Plaza it's happening at the same [0:36] time as the Indoor Farmers Market if you [0:38] aren't able to make it to the event you [0:40] can look at the draft design and share [0:42] your feedback online starting February [0:44] 8th to learn more visit Bloomington [0:46] forward.org at the January 27th council [0:49] meeting mayor busy read a proclamation [0:51] in honor of winter salt week we have a [0:53] proclamation regarding winter salt week [0:55] the acknowledgement is intended to raise [0:57] awareness and urge all residents [0:59] businesses and City staff to take part [1:01] in initiatives that promote the [1:03] responsible use of deicing salt and [1:05] maintaining safety while reducing [1:07] environmental harm I just wanted to [1:09] highlight a couple of our uh guys who [1:11] are responsible for uh bloomington's [1:13] decreasing salt Trend over the last 10 [1:16] years so implementing lots of different [1:18] Technologies with our plow drivers from [1:20] segmented plow blades to Pavement [1:22] temperature guns on all of the snowplows [1:24] out there helping these guys make the [1:26] best decisions they can to ensure that [1:28] we maintain our level of service but we [1:30] are also being sensitive to the [1:31] environment out there you're invited to [1:33] the Civic spe Championship Bloomington [1:36] middle school students will showcase [1:37] their Civics knowledge in a spirited [1:39] competition moderated by mayor busy on [1:42] Tuesday February 4th in the council [1:43] chambers late Refreshments start at 6:30 [1:46] p.m. and the competition is at 7:00 the [1:48] event is hosted in partnership with the [1:50] League of Women Voters of Bloomington [1:52] Bloomington Public Schools and the [1:53] City's community outreach and engagement [1:55] division that is a wrap on this week's [1:57] buzz if you would like to see other [1:59] stories highlighting people places and [2:01] projects in Bloomington watch them right [2:03] here on our YouTube channel thanks for [2:05] watching [2:07] [Music]
