[0:11] My name's Grant Veitenheimer. [0:13] I'm the owner of Scramblin' Egg [0:14] with my good friend Nick Peterson. [0:16] He is my business partner. [0:18] Scramblin' Egg is just like a customizable breakfast place [0:20] where we prioritize quality, speed, and affordability. [0:23] Let's get scrambling, you guys. [0:25] We joined the competition [0:26] just because we thought winning that money [0:28] would make a big difference for our business. [0:30] We have a location that we're working on [0:33] getting locked in right now in East Bloomington. [0:35] Running a food trailer's fantastic, but it's a lot of work. [0:38] It's a lot of moving things in and out, [0:40] in and out of the trailer. [0:42] There's some confusion with customers. [0:44] They don't know where we are, [0:45] and we're moving all the time, so it would be nice, [0:47] you know, we got our home base, everything's there. [0:50] If we ever run outta chicken or something, [0:52] we can just start making it right away. [0:53] Opposed to right now [0:54] where I gotta call my business partner, Nick. [0:57] He's gotta cook chicken. He is gotta get in his van. [0:59] He is gotta drive it over here. [1:01] You know, it's a pretty grueling shift [1:02] here at Scramblin' Egg, so at the end of the day, [1:04] I like to just lay down on the floor, [1:06] and watch a good movie, and relax, honestly. [1:09] I like to play football with my friends. [1:10] I actually graduated from Jefferson in 2014 [1:12] and I played football there a lot. [1:14] I worked in this trailer when I was younger [1:16] and actually going to college out in Colorado. [1:18] I moved back to Minnesota to be closer to my family, [1:21] and then about three years after that, [1:23] me and my girlfriend, Annie, [1:24] moved back to Colorado for six months [1:26] and I went back to work for this business, [1:28] and they had outgrown their trailer [1:30] and it was sitting vacant. [1:30] I bought it from them, [1:31] and I brought it back all the way from Colorado. [1:34] I think it's got legs, [1:35] and I think we could take Scramblin' Egg, [1:36] make it a national chain, honestly. [1:40] People should choose us [1:41] because Scramblin' Egg is just a great quality business [1:44] I would say right now. [1:45] We've had a successful start so far, [1:47] and we have, you know, big goals for Scramblin' Egg. [1:49] And we just feel like with that $100,000 [1:52] we're just gonna be able [1:53] to take that next step much quicker. [1:56] (gentle jazz music)
