Bloomington plans snow removal changes, celebrates summer events

Looking ahead to summer, Bloomington will host back-to-back celebrations in June. The annual Juneteenth celebration takes place Saturday, June 21st, from noon to 5:30 p.m. at Valley View Middle School. The event honors the history, resilience, and contributions of Black communities. The following day, Sunday, June 22nd, the city will hold its 5th annual Pride Celebration from 1 to 6 p.m. at Bloomington Civic Plaza, organized by the nonprofit Bloomington Pride to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community.
