All right. Um, the mission of Robin Area Schools is to inspire and educate all learners to develop their unique potential and positively contribute to their community. Um the purpose of well everything we've done and uh over the summer with our summer programming um really checks all four buckets on our strategic plan when it comes to academic achievement, student engagement and wellness, community partnerships uh and collaboration as well as staff investment and impact. What what you hear tonight should highlight, you know, various areas of that. Um the purpose of this me of this presentation is to celebrate and highlight the work that we've done um over the summer serving students, families, and community. All right. Uh, this is just a list of the programming areas that we offer throughout the summer. And I'm going to get ready to call up uh, Brian to talk about ESY. Hello everybody. Uh, extended school year uh, ran from July uh, through the month of July. We uh, worked on our two strategic themes. Theme A, student achievement and theme B which was student wellness. Uh and we offered services or services to 175 students uh early childhood through transition age. Uh this is just part of our federal mandate of providing special education services to students who will require that service if they uh meet the need uh through regression in skills, self-sufficiency, uh functional skills and unique circumstances. So students that maybe have medical needs that need services over the summer. uh CA teachers, case managers collect data over uh before and after breaks to show a need for that those services. Uh services we provide transportation uh they get all the services that they would normally get like speech, OT, physical therapy. Uh it's really a fun program. It's fun to work. Uh the highlight for me was we had students at our Cooper uh program do a talent show on the last day of school and they really enjoyed that. Uh so we were at four sites, New Hope Learning Center, Forest, Cooper, and Robbinsdale Transition Center. Uh again, those are our attendance numbers. We had pretty good attendance. Uh a lot of times kids will come for a couple days, maybe families go on vacation, so the numbers could always be higher, but uh we were pretty happy with the number of students that showed up this summer. All right, targeted services. >> Good evening, everyone. I have the good pleasure of talking about targeted services and credit recovery this evening. Uh targeted services is a state funded program. It is a part of our comprehensive alternative learning center programming and it addresses themes A and B. For our elementary target services, we consolidated sites into one at Robbinsdale Middle School. So we had all of the littles going through a very large building and it went beautifully. Uh there was a little trepidation. It went really well. We had just under 400 students attend. We used the same uh curricular resources that we've used for several years for …
