[0:28] e [0:58] e [1:28] e [1:58] e [2:28] e [2:58] e [3:28] e [3:58] e [4:28] e [4:58] e [5:28] e [5:58] e [6:28] e [6:58] e [7:28] e [7:58] e [8:28] e [8:58] e [9:28] e [9:58] e [10:28] e [10:58] e [11:28] e e [12:06] good evening tonight is Monday February 3rd and we do have a quorum so I will call this meeting to order the first [12:13] order of a business is agenda approval do I have a motion to approve the agenda for tonight's board meeting so moved is [12:21] there a second second we will vote to approve our agenda all those in favor say I I any opposed [12:30] tonight's agenda is approved Dr Stanley will you please review tonight's agenda for us and the community [12:37] absolutely ight tonight we're going to have excellence in action and we're very [12:43] excited about that um could have hearing um from members of [12:48] the public and then uh you have a consent agenda we have a few discussion items um including looking at some [12:56] budgets uh curriculum our school calendars um for Action we're going to [13:02] oh and there are some policies that um will be discussed and then for Action uh we're looking at some bargaining um [13:10] agreements policy review and um Mutual termination of employment agreement and [13:16] then there will be leadership and committee updates and superintendent updates and we'll be done great thank [13:23] you uh before we move into excellence in action I would like to take a moment to make some some remarks about one of our [13:30] board members uh this was supposed to happen last month but this particular board member was ill and was not at our [13:38] meeting uh so Erica on behalf of the Edina school board and Edina Public Schools I want to take a moment to [13:45] recognize and thank our outgoing board chair Erica allenberg for her remarkable [13:50] Service as Idina School Board chair over the past 5 years Erica your tenure as chair has [13:56] been nothing short of extraordinary your leadership has guided us through some pivotal moments in our district [14:04] hiring welcoming and onboarding the new superintendent navigating the unprecedented chall challenges of public [14:12] education during a global pandemic and spearheading the creation and implementation of our District's [14:18] ambitious strategic plan under your Steady Hand we've witness tremendous growth across the [14:25] district and your commitment to our students staff and Community has been evident every step of the way you have [14:33] served as a pragmatic strategic and thoughtful leader always balancing the needs of our stakeholders while keeping [14:40] the best interests of our students at the Forefront your work has been instrumental in shaping the success of [14:47] our district and your dedication has left a lasting impact while you are stepping back from [14:53] the role of chair and have left some very big shoes to fill we are grateful that your expertise and voice voice will [14:59] continue to serve our board and our distric…
