[0:28] all right here we Hello folks we got a green light and uh we got all of our wardes and families and friends seated [0:35] in the back it's going to be an exciting part of the evening so let's get this meeting going well good evening everybody and [0:42] welcome to the Adina City Council meeting it is Tuesday March 18th 2025 our new digital clock says it's 7:02 p.m [0:50] and um as Director Benerrod said we are doing these meetings in a hybrid fashion [0:55] and some folks may be watching on cable TV or on on [1:00] YouTube.comv uh they're going to be able to participate uh uh remotely here with [1:05] respect to um uh community comment we don't have any public hearings this [1:11] evening and so they'll have one opportunity to participate and we'll first visit with folks from our uh [1:18] community that are here this evening that have concerns they want to comment on and then um uh so having provided [1:25] that information um I'm going to call the meeting to order and ask our cler Sharon Allison to call the role council [1:31] member Agy here council member Jackson here council member Pierce here council member Risser here mayor Hublin here [1:38] next is the pledge of allegiance algiance to the flag of the [1:46] United States of America and to the republic for which it stands one nation [1:52] under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all [1:57] thanks everybody we have a form of meeting agenda that's [2:05] been published in advance of the meeting so people had an opportunity to know in our community what's what's the city [2:10] council working on on uh March 18th and the council has seen it as well of [2:16] course uh is there anyone that wishes to modify the meeting agenda any form or fashion from a staff or a council [2:22] standpoint is there a motion to approve the meeting agenda as published so moved a second jackson moves member Agnu [2:29] seconds the adoption of the meeting agenda is published any further discussion those in favor of adopting the meeting agenda is published say I i [2:36] opposed carried uh the meeting agenda is adopted uh in its published form and now [2:42] we'll go to community comment which um is comes up rather quickly here i'm going to have that number go up on the [2:48] screen uh once again for people that might be calling in so they can they can see that and uh write those numbers down [2:55] uh but I think next we will go to a community comment from folks that are here in the audience that are uh wishing [3:02] to speak to the council on a matter of concern to [3:21] them good evening mayor council members my name is Ralph Zickert i live at 4311 [3:28] Cornelia Circle first a shout out to John Carlson john is an Adina resident [3:35] and during community comment he asked a question about the use of tax increment financing referred to as Adina's spark [3:43] fund john's question prompted this response by manager Neil [3:50] what is shocking about Neil's reply is that it reads like the Minne…
