[0:26] okay everybody ready to go [0:33] well good evening everyone and welcome to the D city council meeting it is Tuesday January 21st 2025 it is 7:01 [0:40] p.m. and um if you were here in the audience you heard director benot talk [0:46] about how we're continuing to do meetings in a hybrid sort of form folks may be uh watching or participating in [0:52] the meeting or planning on participating in the meeting by watching the meeting on cable TV or on [0:58] youtube.com/ TV and we've got a couple opportunities for people to call in this evening both with [1:04] respect to public comment and just a reminder if you if you want to address the Council on a matter of concern to [1:09] you or inquire about a particular matter uh it can't be one uh it can't be an item that's on the agenda this evening [1:15] or scheduled for a future public hearing and you'll have three minutes um and that's advice to everybody listening [1:22] online as well and you'll get that yellow warning light when you got 30 seconds left and you should be thinking [1:27] about wrapping up your comments at that point in time there's also a public hearing matter tonight One Singular [1:32] public hearing matter and folks can certainly testify uh in that matter that [1:38] are either here in the chambers or um participating remotely so having [1:43] provided that information let me call the meeting to order and ask our cler Sharon Allison to call the role council member Agy here council member Jackson [1:50] here council member Pierce here council member Risser here mayor huin here next is the Pledge of [1:58] Allegiance Pledge to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it [2:05] stands one nation God indivisible with liy and justice for [2:13] all thanks everyone um we have got a meeting agenda [2:19] in front of us that's been published uh in advance of the meeting as required and uh is there anyone on the [2:25] council or from a staff standpoint that wishes to modify the meeting agenda any form or fashion all right is there a [2:31] motion to approve the meeting agenda as published so moved second member Jackson moves member Pierce second the adoption [2:37] of the meeting agenda is published uh any further discussion all those in favor of adoption the meeting agenda is [2:42] published say I I I opposed carried and now we are at Community comment folks so [2:47] again a reminder uh we we're happy to listen to concerns that you have uh and [2:54] uh it can't be an item that's on the agenda this evening or scheduled for a future public hearing let's look first [2:59] into the audience to see if there's anybody with us that wishes to come and testify uh or comment from a public [3:07] standpoint I know that we've got a couple of folks here uh I think from [3:13] um Project Earth I think yeah and and uh usually we have people [3:20] give their first names and last names if you guys don't feel comfortable giving your full name that's that's fine too…
