Vernon Avenue & Highway 100 Interchange Construction Update - July 2025
🚧 EDINA CONSTRUCTION UPDATE 🚧 The northbound Highway 100 on-ramp at West 50th Street will close Monday, July 28, as Stage 3A of the Vernon Avenue & Highway 100 Interchange Project begins. The closure is expected to last until late fall to allow for construction of a new noise wall, on-ramp and signal system in that location. Detour: Take southbound Highway 100 from Eden Avenue, then eastbound Highway 62 to return to northbound Highway 100. Local traÂffic may use frontage roads and the northbound on-ramp at Benton Avenue. Between now and the project’s completion in November, drivers should expect varying closures of Highway 100 on- and off-ramps at Vernon and West 50th, along with longer detours. This stage marks the start of the most disruptive portion of the project, but it also brings the most visible improvements. Grandview businesses and the 50th & France District remain open and accessible throughout the project. Engineering Director Chad Millner shares what to expect and how to stay informed.
