[0:06] Pilot enhances neighborhood

[0:12] of zero traffic deaths
[0:13] and serious injuries.
[0:15] Cameras are currently located at five,
[0:18] high-risk intersections
[0:20] throughout the city.
[0:21] When a violation is detected,
[0:23] the camera takes a picture
[0:24] of the rear license plate,
[0:26] not the driver,
[0:27] along with a short video.
[0:29] Minneapolis Traffic Control Agents
[0:31] then carefully review the footage
[0:33] and verify the violation
[0:35] before taking any enforcement action.
[0:37] For all first-time violations,
[0:39] the City will issue warnings.
[0:41] If you receive a citation,
[0:43] it will come from the City's vendor
[0:45] with the Minneapolis
[0:46] Traffic Control logo on it.
