One thing that I love about my role is I get to work with a lot of other departments... So it's great to be able to collaborate with other departments across the city um, to work with an important part of Minnetonka.

So, clearly the response is varying between the tenant and the owner. Um, we also can recognize that owners seemed to take more actions than tenants.

I participated in the program um previously the one-stop efficiency shop and it was an excellent outreach opportunity and appropriately named because it I believe that we saw several dozen businesses and talked with the owners or the tenants sometimes um in one day's time and it was partnering the commissioner with an engineer for Saturday Center for Energy and Efficiency.

They're the ones that don't have any in-house expertise. The large companies that employed me, for example, you know, where they had an environmental health and safety manager director, they have in-house expertise. And I think most of those folks have been assigned uh sustainability actions.

If you go onto the website you'll find the uh this type of information. So they're saying that the bids in general save just over $5,000 per installation.

And there is a limit of up to 120% of one's annual electric use. That's reviewed over the past 3 years, I believe.

Well, thank you for picking up the baton and running with it. I think it's important that all citizens have access to this.

Everything that I have learned about solar since being on the commission, I have learned from our fellow commissioners... I think that's fantastic. Also when we're in community and doing our ambassador work it comes up as well.
