## 10. City Planner’s Report
TC2 was selected as the consultant for the Comprehensive Plan Update. A joint work session with
City Council and Planning Commission will be held on Tuesday, September 8th at 5:45. We have
put out a call for volunteers and have assembled an Advisory Committee including nine City board
and commission representatives, six community organization representatives, one property owner
representative (Brixmor/The Hub), and two agency representatives (the County and School District).
The first Advisory Committee meeting will be Monday, September 14th. Finally, public engagement
is planned to kick off at Penn Fest on Sunday, September 20th. Ruby Villa accepted a planner
position with the Village of Itasca, in Illinois. The new Planner 1 is Will Storey.
