[0:00] Hi,Sheridan Hills,
[0:01] we're at week 4
[0:03] and another group of amazing questions.
[0:07] I'm just so
[0:08] impressed with the creativity with the questions that are coming in.
[0:15] So our first question is,
[0:17] do you like art?
[0:18] And what kinds of art do you like?
[0:21] I
[0:22] love art,
[0:25] I'm really proud that Richfield is committed to the arts,
[0:28] and we get to have art
[0:31] in our building for every student.
[0:35] I love art because you don't.
[0:39] have to
[0:40] have the same language
[0:42] to understand and feel the same feelings.
[0:46] I think I really gravitate towards the visual arts.
[0:49] I like photography and painting,
[0:53] and secretly,
[0:54] I really
[0:56] wish I knew how to play an instrument because
[1:00] I would love to be able to walk into a room and say I'm with the band.
[1:06] I think our new music teacher will,
[1:08] Ms. Claire will be able to say that - you should ask her about
[1:12] the bands that she's in.
[1:18] The next question is,
[1:20] are you an early bird or a night owl?
[1:24] Well,
[1:24] I'm definitely an early bird.
[1:27] I have been
[1:29] getting up early for the past maybe
[1:33] 10 years,
[1:35] and the thing I really like to do is
[1:38] get up before everybody when the house is still kind of dark and quiet,
[1:44] and get my little cup of coffee
[1:46] and sit by myself and listen to some nice calming music
[1:50] and do that for about maybe 5 or 10 minutes.
[1:53] That's my favorite way to start the day.
[1:59] Have you ever been
[2:01] downhill skiing before?
[2:03] And what is your favorite winter activity?
[2:06] I have not been downhill skiing,
[2:09] and I would love for any of you skiers out there
[2:12] to come and tell me about that experience.
[2:14] I would love to know
[2:15] how you get to be a skilled skier.
[2:18] That would be
[2:19] a brand new activity for me.
[2:22] And my favorite winter activity,
[2:24] I
[2:26] Just like taking walks in nature and really want to try and get out snowshoeing.
[2:31] We didn't have a lot of snow last winter,
[2:33] so I wasn't able to do that,
[2:35] but that's something that is on my list of things to do.
[2:38] I like sledding too.
[2:41] That's something
[2:42] that we do as a family,
[2:45] When the first snow falls,
[2:47] we'll run to the park and get on a sled and it,
[2:51] it's
[2:51] really fun and it's fun to see your community out there too.
[2:59] If you could have a superpower,
[3:01] what would it be?
[3:03] This might be the most challenging question that anybody has ever asked me.
[3:07] I think that maybe the superpower I would want to have is to be able
[3:14] to communicate with
[3:17] everybody I meet,
[3:19] including humans and animals.
[3:21] There's times where my dog is
[3:24] looking out our window and I
[3:26] sort of wonder what he's thinking.
[3:28] It would be fun to talk to him and hear his thoughts about
[3:31] how he sees the world.
[3:33] That might be a good superpower to have.
[3:36] So,
[3:37] those are the questions this week.
[3:40] Next week is our very,
[3:42] very last week.
[3:43] So if you have a question for me,
[3:45] get it in before Thursday.
[3:47] I'm anxious to hear from you,
[3:49] and I'm looking forward to seeing the questions,
[3:51] and I'm even more excited about seeing you in person very soon.
[3:56] See you soon.
