[0:00] Hi,
[0:00] Sheridan Hills.
[0:01] I'm excited for week three to see all the questions that came in.
[0:09] When is your birthday
[0:11] and how do you like to celebrate?
[0:13] Well,
[0:14] birthdays in my family as a young girl,
[0:18] always surrounded,
[0:20] was always centered around a special meal. My
[0:23] grandma would make enchiladas on our birthdays.
[0:26] So
[0:27] each year I'd look forward to having that special meal once a year,
[0:32] and that
[0:33] celebration continues on now in my family,
[0:37] when it's your birthday,
[0:37] you get to choose your very special meal,
[0:40] so that's what we do.
[0:44] I'm excited for kindergarten.
[0:46] What's your favorite thing about kindergarten?
[0:49] Well, there's
[0:50] so many things that are special about kindergarten,
[0:53] but I think the most special
[0:56] part about kindergarten is making new friends.
[0:59] It's exciting to
[1:01] meet new people and to find friendships that sometimes last a lifetime.
[1:07] Being a new person here,
[1:08] I kind of feel a little bit like a kindergartener myself.
[1:11] I'm looking forward to
[1:12] meeting new people and making new friends this year.
[1:18] What's your favorite holiday
[1:20] and what's your favorite season?
[1:23] Well, I can kind of put those two questions together because right now,
[1:27] winter is becoming my favorite season
[1:30] and all the holidays in winter time
[1:35] that require your family to get together and be cozy
[1:37] and eat special meals and laugh and play games,
[1:41] that's pretty much becoming my very favorite uh time of the year.
[1:49] What's your favorite thing to do out of school?
[1:53] And what are you excited about?
[1:56] Well, when I'm not in school,
[1:58] I like to do anything
[2:00] that is outside,
[2:02] whether that be hiking,
[2:03] walking,
[2:06] taking a little jog,
[2:07] and if I'm close to water,
[2:08] that's even better.
[2:09] I love spending time by the lakes.
[2:13] We have been working on trying to visit as many state parks as possible.
[2:18] I just visited Taylors Falls.
[2:21] It is beautiful.
[2:25] Who's your favorite singer?
[2:27] Well,
[2:28] that is probably the most challenging question of all
[2:31] because I don't think I have one favorite singer,
[2:35] and I
[2:35] listen to music all the time.
[2:38] And the type of music I listen to is usually
[2:42] different depending on what I'm doing.
[2:45] For example,
[2:45] if I'm exercising,
[2:47] I'll probably listen to
[2:49] really fast beat music,
[2:51] maybe some
[2:52] old school 90s hip hop
[2:54] or some dance music.
[2:57] When
[2:58] I wanna get
[2:59] cozy and rest,
[3:01] I might listen to a little bit of jazz.
[3:04] I like a lot of artists right now. I've been really
[3:08] enjoying listening to
[3:12] Beyonce's sister Solange.
[3:14] I like her music.
[3:19] What's your favorite sport?
[3:22] Oh my gosh,
[3:24] I love all kinds of sports.
[3:26] The thing that I love most about sporting events
[3:30] is that you get a group of people
[3:33] who might not have a lot in common,
[3:35] but you're all rooting for the same team.
[3:38] That is just really fun energy to be around.
[3:42] Right now really like basketball,
[3:46] coming from California.
[3:48] I did like the Golden State Warriors,
[3:51] but,
[3:52] the Wolves had a great season last year,
[3:54] and I'm really excited to see
[3:57] what they do this year.
[3:59] And the other sport that I'm really,
[4:02] really interested in these days is the WNBA.
[4:06] It's really exciting to see,
[4:09] The talent of the WNBA and I'm looking forward to going to a game this year.
[4:15] That is all of our questions for
[4:18] this week.
[4:19] I can't wait to see what comes next week.
[4:22] See you again soon.
