[0:00] Hey Sheridan Hills, [0:02] it's week 5, [0:04] our very last week for questions, [0:06] and I have some good ones here. [0:11] Why did you decide to become a principal? [0:15] Well, [0:15] actually. [0:17] I've always really loved being a teacher. [0:21] And I also really love being around students. [0:26] And something that I like to do is help people. [0:30] So being a principal lets me do all of those things. [0:33] It helps me [0:34] being in a position where I can help both teachers and students. [0:38] So that's why I wanted to be a principal. [0:44] When you lived in California, [0:47] did you ever go to Disneyland? [0:49] And if yes, [0:51] what was your favorite ride? [0:54] Hm, [0:55] well, [0:56] I lived in a little town called Santa Cruz, [0:59] which is about [1:00] 7 or 8 [1:02] hours away from Disneyland, [1:04] so I didn't go there very often, [1:07] but I think I've been to Disneyland about 3 times, [1:11] and my favorite ride. [1:14] When I went. [1:16] The last time was, [1:20] I think it was, [1:21] It's A Small World. [1:22] That's still my favorite [1:24] ride cause it's kind of slow [1:26] and their songs. [1:28] Yeah, [1:29] that that's probably my favorite ride. [1:35] What is your favorite type of bird? [1:38] Well, [1:38] some of you know that I've been trying to get [1:41] Mr. Garcia interested in bird watching, [1:45] and right now there's this cute little hummingbird that comes to visit me [1:49] every evening. [1:51] So hummingbirds are my favorite bird right now. [1:55] So that's the last question for [1:58] our time [1:59] together. [2:00] I've had such a great time getting to meet some of you at Connect & Assess this week. [2:06] It's been fun, [2:08] meeting you and meeting your parents, [2:10] and some of you brought aunts and uncles and grandparents, [2:13] so I feel like we're beginning to become a big community together, [2:19] So next week we have one more day of Connect & Assess, [2:24] and then after that [2:26] is one of my favorite days of the whole year, [2:29] the first day of school. [2:31] I'm so excited to greet you all [2:34] and to [2:36] welcome you into a new year. [2:38] So it's my plan to come visit every single classroom. [2:42] Just continue to work business as usual, [2:45] and I'll give you a little wave, [2:47] and if you feel um [2:48] brave enough to do it, [2:49] you can give me a little wave back, [2:51] and I'll see you around. [2:52] Looking forward to a great year. [2:54] Bye.
