Wayzata Planning Commission reviews three major development projects

Review of Development Item Activities
Staff provided updates on current and upcoming development projects. The Ferndale Bluffs subdivision has been revised to three lots with no roadway variance after a previous denial recommendation. The 200 Lake Street (old TCF site) redevelopment is expected in March. Information regarding the Kishes project (former Caribou Coffee) indicated potential upper-story office space and ground-floor retail or food uses.

At our next Planning Commission meeting we will be reviewing the Ferndale Bluffs um subdivision as uh changed slightly since the last time that's been reviewed um the roadway variance has been removed and the um it's now three lots.
My understanding is that the upper story is uh office space and I don't know whether they're making that tenant public yet uh but that they'll span between uh the new structure and then come into the old structure a little bit as well on that second floor.
That proposal uh was recommended for denial by the Planning Commission and then they didn't continue on to city council They withdrew since then they've been working on refining their proposal and they're back again with a complete application with uh three lots and a shorter public street.
