With all in favor, the agenda was approved. ## ApprovalofMinutes–AmotionwasmadebyPettis,secondedbyJohnson,toapprovethe minutesoftheMay11,2026regularCityCouncilmeeting.Withallinfavor,theminuteswere approved.AcompletecopyoftheminutesoftheMay11,2026regularCityCouncilmeetingis contained in the City Administrator’s book entitled Council Proceedings 20. ## ConsentAgenda–InmotionbyPettis,secondedbyDeVos,ResolutionNo.2026–98entitled “ResolutionApprovingConsentAgenda”,wasintroduced.Uponrollcall,withallinfavor,the ## Resolutionwasdeclaredpassedandadopted.AcompletecopyofResolutionNo.2026-98is contained in the City Administrator’s book entitled Council Resolutions 26. ## MemorandumofUnderstandingforYouthDevelopmentandYouthServiceProgramswith ## SchoolDistrict#508–CityAdministratorPrafkereviewedthefunctionsoftheMemorandum stating it was similar to previous years. Prafke requested approval. ## InmotionbySharstrom,secondedbyPettis,ResolutionNo.2026-99entitled“Resolution AuthorizingExecutionofYouthDevelopmentMemorandumofUnderstanding“wasintroduced. ## Uponrollcall,withallinfavor,theResolutionwasdeclaredpassedandadopted.Acomplete copyofResolutionNo.2026-99iscontainedintheCityAdministrator’sbookentitledCouncil Resolutions 26. ## MinnesotaRiverValleyTransitLeaseUpdate–CityAdministratorPrafkesharedthatdueto ## MRVTmovingtothenewCityHalluponcompletionoftheproject,anupdatetothesquarefootage wasneededforthenewspace.Prafkenotedthepricepersquarefootwasnotchanging,justthe size. ADJOURNMENT ## Todd Prafke ## City Administrator ## CITY OF SAINT PETER, MINNESOTA ## OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS ## MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING ## MAY 11, 2026 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Saint Peter was conducted in the Governors’ Room of the Community Center. A quorum present, Mayor Nowell called the meeting to order at 7:01 p.m. The following Councilmembers were present: Darrell Pettis, Ben Ranft, Josh Weisenfeld, Dustin Sharstrom and Brad DeVos. Councilmember Keri Johnson was absent. The following officials w ere also present: City Administrator Todd Prafke, City Attorney James Brandt, Water Resources Superintendent Curtis Thompson, Finance Director Perry Solheim, and City Engineer Jeffrey Domras. Approval of Agenda – A motion was made by Ranft, seconded by Pettis, to approve the amended agenda. With all in favor, the agenda was approved. Approval of Minutes – A motion was made by Ranft, seconded by Weisenfeld, to approve the minutes of the April 27, 2026 regular City Council meeting. With all in favor, the minutes were approved. A complete copy of the minutes of the April 27, 2026 regular City Council meeting is contained in the City Administrator’s book entitled Council Proceedings 20. Consent Agenda – In motion by Pettis, seconded by Sharstrom, Resolution No. 2026–88 entitled “Resolution Approving Consent Agenda”, was introduced. Upon roll call, with Councilmember Ranft abstaining, and all others in favor, the Resolution was declared passed and adopted.
