History Center Farm Renovation, Highway 14 Interchange Move Forward in Olmsted County
County board members received updates on the George Stoppel Farm restoration and a groundbreaking planned for the Highway 14 and County Road 44 interchange.
Olmsted County officials received updates this week on two long-running local projects: the renovation of the historic George Stoppel Farm at the Olmsted County History Center and a major interchange construction project at the intersection of Highway 14 and County Road 44.
The reports came during a round of board and commission updates that also touched on park programming, Master Gardener projects at Graham Park and an international youth delegation trip to Germany.

Board members said renovation work continues at the George Stoppel Farm, the historic property associated with the Olmsted County History Center. The farm is one of the county's most recognizable heritage sites and has been the focus of ongoing preservation efforts.
The work at the Stoppel Farm is moving along, and it's an important part of preserving Olmsted County's history for future generations.
