City officials announced a series of October festivities while simultaneously initiating key administrative processes, including the first steps toward crafting the city's 2027 budget and approving a new business license.
Maplewood residents have a busy calendar ahead with community events slated for late October, as city leadership simultaneously initiated key administrative processes, including the first steps toward crafting the 2027 budget. The City Council recently received updates on these upcoming activities and ongoing city business.
Among the celebratory events, a Fire Badge Pinning Ceremony is scheduled to honor Maplewood's newest emergency responders, marking a significant occasion for the city's public safety department.
On October 26th, we are going to have a fire, uh, badge pinning ceremony. It's not quite a swearing in, but it is a celebratory event where we introduce our new firefighter EMS personnel.
Families seeking seasonal fun were encouraged to attend the annual Trunk or Treat event, offering a safe and festive way to celebrate Halloween in a community setting.
So make sure that you come to the trunk or treat on Sunday, October 25th in the parking lot of Maplewood City Hall.
