This is just a sample of the hundreds of obscene and dangerous things that are known to be tolerated by administrators at West Middle School. And to all of you sitting in front of me, I would like to personally attest to the fact that these are not exaggerated behaviors or stories.

The fact that we now have a 20-year veteran union rep teacher loved by thousands that has been is mindblowing. This is a teacher that the rest of the staff went to hundreds of times when they were not feeling safe or valued. He worked very hard to bring stability, safety, rules, and accountability to the building.

I'm grateful that there was a teacher who could step in when student continued to sprint down the hallway even after disrespectfully reminders. When he stepped out of his classroom in disruption, the kid happened to run into him and fall. It is darn. One of the students sent a great message to students. They showed them that they can speak to authority figures however they want and however they want and somehow come out on top. And for the staff that sent the message that if you try to intervene and stop that behavior, you can lose your job.

Your responsibility is to independently determine whether those recommend recommendations are fair, justified, and supported by complete information. You were elected to represent the community, its students, its families, its teachers, its staff members, and taxpayers. Active oversight is not interference. Asking difficult questions is not disrespectful. Seeking another perspective is not disloyalty. I am asking you to use the authority you have to revisit the recent personnel decision through the appropriate confidential process.

I want to particularly call out one uh from Emerson that was a $15,000 in time for the shop high school and that was for 100 robot kits and battery packs to go with it as well as some game controllers.
