Adjourn ## ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY ## MINUTES OF MAY 11, 2026 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, an Economic Development Authority meeting was held on June 8, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers. ## MEMBERS PRESENT: Kathy Hollenhorst, Paige Krumme, Andy Voller, Robin Dingmann, ## Mark Kolbinger ## MEMBERS ABSENT: OTHERS PRESENT: Jacob Sanders – Community Development Director, Austin Petersen – ## Planner, Caryn Dunderi – EDA Secretary Hollenhorst called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. with a quorum present. ## APPROVAL OF AGENDA ## A MOTION WAS MADE BY DINGMANN TO APPROVE THE AGENDA. THE ## MOTION WAS SECONDED BY VOLLER. UPON ## VOTE BEING TAKEN THE FOLLOWING VOTED: ## AYE: HOLLENHORST, KRUMME, VOLLER, DINGMANN, KOLBINGER ## NAY: NONE ## MOTION CARRIED ## GUESTS AND OPEN FORUM: None. ## CITY OWNED PROPERTY SWAP DISCUSSION: Sanders reported that Todd Potter had approached city staff about purchasing a 25-acre parcel for use as a battery energy storage facility. Potter also indicated he would consider a land swap, with the city receiving an industrial property owned by Todd Potter, which includes existing buildings. The EDA Board discussed the proposal and reached a consensus that a battery storage facility would generate few, if any, local jobs and provide limited tax base benefits. Sanders noted that staff has previously discussed extending utilities to the 25-acre parcel and marketing it for development that would create jobs and expand the city's tax base.
