[0:24] all right we'll call tonight's meeting to order Joan roll call Director Gerspitch here Director Hawker here Dr [0:30] Kellenberg here Director Lowour here Director Parker here Director Theelander here Chair Sherman here We have a quorum [0:37] Great Let's stand for the pledge of allegiance I pledge algiance to the flag of the [0:44] United States of America and to the republic for which it stands One nation [0:50] under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all [0:57] Our first action tonight is the approval of the meeting agenda I'll make a motion [1:03] to approve Can I get a second i'll second it Oh great We'll go with Director Kelzenberg with the second All [1:08] those in favor of approving tonight's agenda raise your hand and say I I I Opposed [1:15] Approval of agenda is unanimous Now we move on to our consent agenda And we have our payment of [1:21] invoices and a field trip request items A and B Is there a motion to approve [1:26] tonight's consent agenda so moved Director Theelander Is there a second director Lowour thank you for the second [1:32] All those in favor of approving tonight's consent agenda raise your hand and say I I opposed Motion passes [1:41] unanimously All right let's move on to our next item [1:47] Under strategic direction A ensure the learning process is adaptable to meet individual student needs We have a [1:53] another opportunity to hear from one of our building principles Tonight we're going to hear from Stonebridge Elementary and get a little bit of a [1:59] building update on some of the great things going on in their school and some of the challenges that they're facing [2:04] that may help the board in its work Welcome Right Thank [2:12] you Chair Sherman Dr Funk members of the board Thanks for having me tonight And I will be spending a few minutes talking [2:18] about Stone uh Stonebridge Elementary and uh some of the good things that we have uh got going on and that some of [2:24] the challenges as well Uh first of all just a quick [2:30] snapshot about our school We uh we are a preK through fifth grade building We [2:36] have 455 students uh in the school We have capacity for 425 It feels really [2:43] good quite honestly We have a little space to do some things that maybe other schools don't have the opportunity to do [2:48] if they are uh closer to 100% capacity But bottom line is we do have some room [2:53] to expand uh if our uh enrollment ever increased Uh you can see the table on [2:59] the left and uh you see that Stonebridge is below the district average in three [3:05] of those four categories The free and reduced lunch category multilingual learners and also students of color And [3:12] then we're a little bit above the district average when it comes to to special [3:18] education Uh here are some of the current realities that I'm going to be speaking about uh tonight Uh you can see [3:24] on the left uh we've got five of these realities that would be in the strengths column And t…
