[0:04] [Music] Welcome back to the Monday Morning
Minute for February 3rd! Let's get 60 seconds
[0:08] on the clock and get started. Oakdale City Hall
now offers free disposal of unused and expired
[0:13] household medications. Two year-round drop boxes
are located on the first floor near the Police
[0:17] Station and are available Monday through Friday
from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Names on prescriptions do
[0:21] not need to be crossed off and medications should
be kept in the original container if possible or
[0:25] placed in a small bag. Please note that some
items such as sharps, e-liquids and vaping
[0:30] devices are not accepted. For more information,
check out the city website, oakdalemn.gov. Are
[0:35] you planning an outdoor event this summer? Rentals
for Oakdale's picnic shelters for the 2025 season,
[0:39] which runs from April through October, can
now be made online through the city website.
[0:43] Reservations are first come, first served,
and Oakdale residents receive a discounted
[0:46] rate. Check out the link provided for shelter
locations, sizes and availability. Finally,
[0:51] stop by the Oakdale Indoor Market at the Discovery
Center this Saturday, February 8th from 9 AM to 1
[0:56] PM to shop from dozens of local vendors offering a
variety of items including baked and canned goods,
[1:01] meats, sweets, home goods and more. That's it,
I'm out of time. Have a great week, Oakdale!
