[0:05] Welcome back to the Monday Morning Minute for
June 16. Let's get 60 seconds on the clock and get
[0:09] started. Our first summer concert of the season
will be held this Wednesday at 7 PM at the Walton
[0:14] Park Band Shell. Bring your lawn chairs to enjoy
this free concert by Salsa Del Soul featuring
[0:19] Caribbean dance music. City offices will be closed
this Thursday, June 19 for the Juneteenth holiday.
[0:25] As always, emergency services are available and
staff will be back on Friday, June 20. Have you
[0:32] noticed properties around town with outstanding
landscapes? Then we'd like your help in nominating
[0:36] them for the Oakdale Acorn Award. Categories
include residential, business/commercial,
[0:41] and public. Check out oakdalemn.gov to learn more
and to nominate properties by June 30. Finally,
[0:48] it's hard to believe, but Oakdale Summerfest is
one week away. Mark your calendars for June 23
[0:52] through June 28 to enjoy a variety of activities
including the Medallion hunt, parade, skateboard
[0:57] contest, Nature Preserve 5K, pony ride,s
inflatables, food trucks, concerts, fireworks,
