Beginning today,  August 5, a number of trails throughout the   [0:14] Oakdale Nature Preserve will be closed to  the public over the next few weeks. Crews   [0:18] will be repaving the trails and removing some  dead and damaged trees along the route. Please   [0:22] follow posted signage and refrain from using  the closed portions of the trail until they   [0:26] have officially reopened. Our Police, Fire, and City   [0:35] Council can't wait to visit parties all across the  City. Thanks to the neighborhood party hosts for   [0:40] organizing gatherings throughout Oakdale. City  offices including City Hall and the Discovery   [0:45] Center will be closed this Wednesday, August  7, from 11:30 AM to 1 PM for a staff event and   [0:51] training. Our summer concert series continues this  week at the Walton Park Bandshell this Wednesday,   [0:56] August 7, beginning at 7 PM with dancable rock and  roll and country from the Backyard Band. We hope   [1:02] you can join us. Finally, the last Pop-Up Splash  Pad of the season will be offered this Friday,   [1:07] August 9, from 1 to 2:30 PM at Tanners Lake  Park.
