Oakdale Farmers Market Season Opens Wednesday
The Oakdale Farmers Market will begin its 2025 season Wednesday, June 4, from 2 to 6 p.m. in the City Hall parking lot, Mayor Zabel announced during his Monday Morning Minute update.
The weekly market will feature fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers, baked goods and other items, with vendors adding new seasonal options throughout the summer. The market will continue each Wednesday through the summer months.
Zabel also reminded residents that Summerfest is scheduled for three weeks from now at Walton Park. This year's event will include expanded children's activities and local bands. The full event schedule is available at www.oakdalesummerfest.com.
City Hall and Public Works have adjusted their summer operating hours. Residents planning to visit either facility should check the city website for current hours, Zabel said.
The mayor concluded by congratulating graduating seniors from Tartan High School and North High School, wishing the Class of 2025 success in their future endeavors.
