[0:08] resolution right into it awesome um so
[0:12] I'm going to read the resolution for
[0:14] canvasing the returns of the votes of
[0:18] school district general election so um
[0:22] be it resolved by the school board of
[0:24] Independent School District number 622
[0:27] State of Minnesota as follows it is
[0:30] hereby found determined and declared
[0:32] that that the general election of the
[0:34] voters of this school district held on
[0:37] November 5th 2024 in conjunction with
[0:40] the state general election was in all
[0:43] respects duly and legally called and
[0:45] held as specified in the attached
[0:48] abstract and return of votes cast a
[0:50] total of8
[0:52] 82,2 3 voters of the school district
[0:55] voted at said general election on the
[0:58] election of four school board members
[1:00] for the four-year term vacancies on the
[1:03] school board caused by expiration of
[1:06] term on the first Monday in January next
[1:10] following the general election as
[1:12] follows um candidate K Yang
[1:17] 1,726 candidate Nancy Livingston
[1:22] 15,218 candidate Katie swore
[1:26] 14,069 candidate Charlotte Nardi
[1:31] 1269 candidate Miriam
[1:33] janich um
[1:36] 10,993 and candidate Justin mid um
[1:42] 11,398 and Ryden was
[1:46] 550 um ke Yang Nancy Livingston Katie
[1:50] swore and Charlotte Nardi having
[1:52] received the highest number of votes are
[1:54] elected to fouryear terms beginning on
[1:57] the first Monday in January 202
[2:00] the clerk is hereby directed to certify
[2:03] the results of the election to the
[2:04] county auditor of each County in which
[2:07] the school district is located in whole
[2:09] or in
[2:12] part
[2:15] um do I have to do the motion
[2:23] here should I read the second part first
[2:25] and then oh there's two of them okay all
[2:29] right so um could I get a motion and a
[2:33] second for
[2:35] this second okay uh moved by Livingston

[3:06] issuance of certificates of election and
[3:09] directing the school district clerk to
[3:11] perform other election related duties
[3:14] whereas the school board canvas the
[3:16] general election for school board
[3:17] members held in conjunction with the
[3:20] state election state general election on
[3:22] November 5th
[3:24] 20124 now therefore be it resolved by
[3:26] the school board of Independent School
[3:28] District number 622 state of Minnesota
[3:30] as follows the board chair and clerk are
[3:33] hereby authorized to execute
[3:35] certificates of election on behalf of
[3:37] the Schoolboard of Independent School
[3:39] District number 622 to the following
[3:41] candidates um ke Yang Nancy Livingston
[3:45] Katie swore Charlotte
[3:47] Nardi who have received a sufficent
[3:50] sufficiently large number of votes to be
[3:52] elected to fill vacancies on the school
[3:54] board caused by expiration of term on
[3:57] the first Monday in January next
[3:59] following the election based on the
[4:02] results of the canvas the certificate of
[4:04] election shall be in substantially the
[4:07] form attached here to after the time for
[4:10] contesting the election has passed and
[4:12] the candidate has filed all campaign
[4:14] Finance Financial reports required by
[4:16] the Minnesota statutes chapter 21A the
[4:20] clerk of the school board is hereby
[4:22] directed to deliver a certificate to
[4:24] each person entitled ther to personally
[4:27] or by certified mail the the clerk is
[4:31] hereby directed to enclose with a
[4:33] certificate a form of acceptance of oath
[4:36] of of office and oath of office and
[4:38] substantially the form attached here to
[4:41] um could I get a motion to adopt this
[4:47] resolution right second moved by nard
[4:51] and second by Livingston um any
[4:57] discussion all right all in favor saying
[4:59] I hi and all oppose say
[5:03] nay all right um and that um has passed
[5:07] and has been
[5:10] adopted um and so now we just have to
[5:12] adjourn the meeting
