The Gold Line opening celebration will take place on March 27th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the new Woodbury Park and Ride ramp, located near Wood Lane Drive and Guer Drive. The free event will feature music, entertainment, games, activities, informational booths, and food trucks as the city marks the completion of this new transit connection.

Looking ahead to April, Mayor Bert will host the annual State of the City event on April 3rd at Eagle Valley Golf Course. The free, public event will feature updates from the mayor and city department heads on key projects and initiatives, followed by a question-and-answer session for attendees.

On April 5th, the Woodbury Area Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a Community Expo at Woodbury High School. The family-friendly event will be free to attend and will include various vendor booths, a city booth, opportunities to view city vehicles, and a destination Woodbury booth showcasing the community.

Propertyowners should also prepare for property value notices from Washington County, which are expected to arrive during the last week of March. Following the notices, "open book meetings" will be held in April, giving property owners the chance to appeal their assessed market value or property classification. The city encourages residents with questions or concerns to contact their area's appraiser as a first step in the appeal process.
