[0:00] e [0:48] good morning everyone it is Tuesday February 4th we'll call the W County Board of Commissioners to order we will [0:53] begin with the Pledge of Allegiance I pledge allegiance to the [0:59] flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one [1:04] nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for [1:13] all all right we have a pretty good robust agenda here given we had a week [1:21] break in between the last meeting here uh first item on the agenda would be the [1:28] approval of the minutes we have minutes from January 21st and January 27th I can [1:34] approve them collectively or individually I'll stand for uh modifications at this time Mr chair I do [1:39] have modifications please yes thank you I would like to amend the minutes of the [1:45] sheriff and attorney salary Committee of the whole from November 19th County Board minutes from December 17th and [1:51] County Board minutes January 21st to State a data request regarding the [1:57] sheriff was discussed by commissioner Shane and H quote um there were the minutes were [2:02] amended by me in December to state that a citizen's data request was discussed by commissioner Shane in Holland and [2:09] approved 5 by the board and on January 21st um my amended comments were then [2:15] stricken um public meet minutes are public record and should reflect the significant items discussed at the [2:20] meetings that's why I amended those um minutes in the first place um this [2:26] because this item was considered a determining Factor regarding the share of salaries setting at 2% um commissioner Holland approved amended [2:32] changes at the December 17th meeting only to strike the amend amended comments at the 20 January 21st board [2:39] meeting again so I would just request that my amended comments be added to [2:45] those requested minutes please can I comment okay uh at this [2:52] time is that an official motion at this time yes okay there's a motion by commissioner dietr do we have a second I'll second it so we can comment okay [3:00] comment so we amended it because we the discussion wasn't about a citizen's data [3:08] request we would like we would we would want the citizens to come forward and if [3:14] they feel they need to do a data request they can it was regarding Sheriff [3:19] daringer data request on two Commissioners because he didn't want to [3:25] give us the uh we asked for three receipts three receipts for three hot [3:33] big items he chose not to and then decided to do a data request on two of [3:41] the Commissioners commissioner Holland and commissioner catchmark so that he could [3:48] he thought we were not asking other leadership for the same things and we [3:55] are we have fraud in the the federal government we have fraud in the state government we don't we that is our [4:04] number one duty is to guard the money of our constituents and when we ask for [4:11] receipts that is not a lot to ask so that is why we i…
