[0:00] [Applause] [0:04] [Music] [0:04] [Applause] [0:05] [Music] [0:06] [Applause] [0:09] [Music] [0:11] [Applause] [0:14] [Music] [0:17] hello and thanks for tuning in to [0:18] Bloomington today let's take a look at [0:20] the latest news in Bloomington residents [0:23] can now see draft designs of the city's [0:25] new Community Health and Wellness Center [0:27] the public is invited to review and [0:29] comment on the plans an in-person event [0:32] was held to kick things off on Saturday [0:34] February 8th residents were able to talk [0:36] with City staff and The Architects we're [0:39] here to show the community the schematic [0:42] design plans for the new uh Health and [0:45] Wellness Center and schematic design [0:46] kind of means we know the basics of the [0:51] new building and the site and we are [0:54] working out the details so I kind of [0:55] call it about the halfway point in the [0:57] process we have a a sense of how big the [0:59] building is going to be we know overall [1:01] kind of where on the site it will be and [1:04] where these kind of key elements are [1:06] going to be happening but there's still [1:08] some chances of stuff moving around [1:10] things getting a little bit bigger a [1:12] little bit smaller the community center [1:15] is going to be really exciting for the [1:16] city of Bloomington because it's going [1:17] to be one of our first and only [1:20] community-owned indoor spaces where [1:23] anyone in the community can come and [1:25] either just hang out and socialize take [1:28] a program exercise be a part of a fun [1:31] activity a cultural event and so we're [1:34] really hoping that this space is a [1:36] stopping point and a gathering point for [1:39] anyone of any age ability interest and [1:41] income level if you weren't able to make [1:44] it in person you can look at the draft [1:46] design on the let's talk Bloomington [1:48] page share your feedback there through [1:50] March 1st residents can now use an [1:53] online form to request Public Safety [1:55] Services for things like noise [1:57] complaints parking issues and road [1:59] hazards you can submit a request using [2:01] the link on your screen it goes directly [2:03] to Bloomington dispatch so they can help [2:06] while keeping emergency lines clear [2:08] requests can be made in any language and [2:10] will be translated into English after [2:12] you submit a request dispatchers will [2:15] follow up by text if they need more [2:17] details or to update you on the status [2:20] the city is seeking an artist to design [2:22] a new mural at Bloomington Ice Garden [2:24] the mural will be located in the [2:26] vestibule of big applications for the [2:28] project are open through March 14th the [2:31] mural will celebrate the rank's history [2:33] and importance to the community The [2:35] Chosen artist will create a digital [2:37] design to be installed on the wall learn [2:39] more about the project details at the [2:41] link on…
