Council Member Jackson proposed a potential solution: relocating early voting to the newly constructed Fire Station Number Two. "Are there any constraints on moving this to our new fire station number two?" Jackson asked, noting the council had considered using the facility to "take that out of City Hall." Allison confirmed the move is legally permissible, though she cautioned that logistical planning would be necessary to implement it.

The council also recognized the substantial effort required to conduct the election, with Allison highlighting the contributions of nearly 200 staff members and election judges. The approval of the election results was formalized through resolutions 2024-96 and 2024-97. While no immediate decision was made on relocating early voting, the discussion signals the city will likely explore the Fire Station Number Two option before the next election cycle.
